X431 U17 and U18 chips control the language

Hi All.

Many guys they ordered X431 GX3 machines from China suppliers.But if you were not lucky enough you will get a the faulty language interface units.ONLY Chinese language.

I have got some complaints from those buyers they ordered from else where,but when they run the machine,there are only Chinese language which is useless to them.

We all know that the X431 controlled by 2chips U17 and U18.Some Chinese suppliers without changing the chips just sell out to the users.This is why some buyers got the GX3 just in Chinese.

Let’s talk to the point.if you want your X431 GX3 or X431 only in Chinese,just change this 2chips will be OK.

X431 Diagun printer and printbox

Hi All

You must search a long time for which kinds of printers are compatible with X431 Diagun.As LAUNCH official web site listed are Lenovo,brother,canon etc.

Yes,those kind of printers could work with Diagun,but very boring.As you also need to download the right print patch to install it in your Diagun PDA,or it won’t work.

X431 Tool-Pairing the smartbox and main unit

Hi All,

Have you ever received the message “Download failure” on your scanner? Pairing the Bluetooth may be the solution…

The Bluetooth connection on your TOOL should take care of itself when both the smartbox and scanner are powered on. There is a blue light on both pieces that should remain solid when properly paired. If either light is flashing, please do the following:

Make sure there are no other wireless devices (cell phones, other tools), as they conflict with the signals.

1. Turn on scanner, have smartbox powered on (through a vehicle is OK)
2. Select START
3. TOOLS
4. RUN
5. Select USR
6. PDA
7. BIN
8. BT Pair (bottom of the list)
9. Select OK
10. Select OK

If this does not pair the bluetooth, try powering down and reconnecting again. Otherwise, contact your distributor

X431 Diagun PDA reset function

Hi All,

Many X431 Diagun owners have no idea about this very useful function”Reset”.There is a Reset Button on the back of your Diagun (right side, in the middle). If you notice any display issues, if the Diagun “won’t read card” or if you encounter a frozen screen, take your stylus pen and press the button once to restart the unit. This should remedy 90% of those annoying technological issues.

Don’t forget to calibrate your screen when the touch screen will not respond to touch!
